While highlighting its three green vehicle models at the Shanghai Expo, General Motors announced that it considers Korea as a follow-up market for the world’s first mass-produced plug-in electric vehicle Chevrolet Volt. You could see the carmaker releasing the Volt in the U.S. next month.
The T-shaped Chevrolet Volt is a 4-seater, and it relies on electricity for gathering the needed energy. The other two vehicles include the Equinox, which uses a next-generation fuel cell system, and the EN-V, which is a two-seater electric concept car. GM featured these demos at its Pavilion at the World Expo 2010 Shanghai, which has as its slogan “Drive to 2030.”
