Increase Your Internet Speed Up To 20%

By default our operation system doesn’t provide full bandwidth usage.  It reserves 20% of the available bandwidth for windows updates and for the interrogation of PC. This limitation can be disabled by using group policy editor…
To disable this limitation follow the steps given below:
  • Go to “start menu” and type this  “gpedit.msc”  in run
  • This will open up a window “Local Group policy Editor”
  • In left panel go to “Local computer policy”
  • Then go to “Administrative Templates” under “Computer Configuration”
  • In right panel go to “Network” folder and open it
  • Now double click on “QOS Packet Scheduler” to open it
  • Here you’ll see file with name “Limit Reservable Bandwidth” double click on it
  • A window will open with options like. Not Configured, Enable , and Disable
  • By default “not configured” option is selected, but see detail it says “the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default.”
  • To remove it select “Enable” option under “not configured” option
  • When you enable it, another option of “Bandwidth Limit” will enable and its value is 20%
  • Change this vale to 0% and press ok
  • Close “Local Group policy Editor” and your internet speed will increase up to 20%
